Charity Fantasy Premier League

I’m a regular player of the premier league’s fantasy premier league, and last season I decided to run a charity league to raise some funds.

This years it’s back and bigger!

For those of who are not familiar with FPL, you get an imaginary £100m to buy 15 players (don’t worry Jack Grealish is only £8m). Each week, players get points for things like scoring goals, creating assists, clean sheets etc. The more points you get the better.

This year, 30% of the funds raised will go to the top 5 at the end of the season. But there’s even more prizes to be won. Each month there is a manager of the month award sponsored by these lovely Leicestershire based businesses.

As the headline sponsor, Steven Mather Solicitor is donating a meal for two with drinks at John’s House – Leicestershire’s best and only Michelin started restaurant.

How to enter

It’s easy to enter:

  1. If you’ve not already created a team, do so at http://fantasy.premierleague.com
  2. Donate £25 to my charity trek – y9u can do that by contacting me for bank details or paying using the GoFundMe page here
  3. Once you’ve paid, I’ll send you the link and code to join the league

Which charities benefit?

70% of all entry fees goes to my Sahara Trek Charities. (30% is the cash prize fund. All monthly prizes and other prizes are sponsored by local businesses).

I know on Twitter people can be dubious about paid for charity leagues, but rest assured as a local solicitor my reputation for trust and integrity is more important so all funds will go to the charity.
