The Sahara Trek is organised by LOROS through Global Adventures.
We are fully funding our trip, the flights, hotels, expenses etc so that every single penny possible donated can go direct to the charities we’re raising for.
LOROS is the first and main charity that we’re raising for, given that they are the organisers!
LOROS Hospice is a local charity and every year they care for over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
They provide free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill adult patients, their family and carers.
Charity Link works throughout Leicester, Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire to help change the lives of over 5,000 vulnerable individuals and families each year.
Their unique funding means that for every £10 donated they can access £50 from charitable trusts and every single penny goes to help local people and children in need.
Ménière’s Society is the UK’s leading charity for people with vestibular (inner ear) disorders causing dizziness and imbalance. They provide support, fund research and raise awareness of the illness which Steven suffers from.
In fact, if it were not for Menieres Society funding in to latest research and techniques, Steven would likely still be crawling around on the floor. Fortunately Steven has treatment in 2018 which considerably helped his recovery.
